We’ll delve into the types of refrigerants used\, examining their environmental impact and efficiency. The discussion will also cover optimal sizing and operating temperatures\, highlighting how these affect system performance and energy savings. Additionally\, we’ll review various applications\, from multi-residential to commercial & industrial settings\, to illustrate how heat pumps can be effectively integrated into diverse hydraulic projects. \nJon has been working in the hot water industry for 24 years. He has been involved in all areas of commercial and residential design\, supply and manufacturing of hot water systems including all types of heat sources including gas\, heat pumps\, solar thermal and PV\, waste heat recovery from mechanical plant and Co-generation. Jon has worked on projects in Australia\, Asia and the USA and projects include defence\, hospitals and aged care\, hotels\, BTR’s\, student accommodation and multi residential applications.
