6.00pm–6.15pm – AHSCA Qld President will provide a welcome and high-level/news update

6.30pm-7.15pm – guest speaker (professional indemnity insurance), inc Q&A

Our venue for this function is: Stone & Wood, 99 Bridge St, Fortitude Valley. The brewery is set inside the heritage-listed Trails Ice building, serving-up Stone & Wood exclusive Brisbane brews and exceptional food in an innovative, industrial space. Stone & Wood Brisbane boasts an 8-hectolitre brewhouse and 24 taps and for those not on the froth, they stock an amazing selection of wines, ginger beers and Brookie’s gin and tonics.

Industry Update – ACO
ACO will provide a short, sharp and interesting “what’s new” update, with the opportunity for you to ask questions.
Guest Speaker – General Liability vs Professional Indemnity
Ray Windsor, Director, Four Pillars Risk Advisory, will talk about the:
- The need to be insured
- The types of insurance that businesses need to consider
- Professional Indemnity insurance for individuals to be covered for errors and omissions in performing their job
Ray has been in the insurance industry since 1992, changing from Insurance Underwriting to Insurance Broking in 1996. He was named the Qld Practicing Broker of the Year in 2003. He has run his own business (Four Pillars Risk Advisory) since 2020. Ray played professional AFL football for Brisbane Bears from 1989 (as a 17 year old) to 1993 when delisted by Brisbane and then played in South Australia for Central Districts for two years. He then came back to Qld and played in the 1996 premiership team with West Brisbane and retired at 24 years of age.
